Saws

For cutting timber and sheet goods down to size, fast and straight.

What to look for in a saw

01

Blade size

Bigger blades cut deeper. 184mm is the sweet spot for framing work; smaller saws only manage thin stock and trim.

02

Depth of cut

How thick a board it gets through in one pass. 65mm clears 45mm framing pine even tilted over for a bevel.

03

Brushless motor

Keeps blade speed up under load so it doesn't bog in hardwood. It's the difference you feel halfway through a cut.

04

Battery platform

A cordless saw drains batteries fast, so make sure it runs on the platform you've already committed to.
